there'll be plenty of folks to meet when you get there.
finding an after party on the spot is a gamble.

there was a local radio station with a promo van setting up at the ticket office in clemson.
by the time i finally got my ticket, the radio folks still didn't have their set up ready.
i had to go move my car, find a legitimate parking place, & by the time i got back to the coliseum, there was a line of people waiting all the way around the coliseum.
by the time my place in line got near where the van was, they had run out of promotional items & packed up & left.
i don't know what the deal with clemson was, the show was scheduled to start at 7:00 pm, which it did. i don't think they opened the doors until 7:00, so i missed about 20 minutes of the 1st band.

local pubs or establishments could be offering discounts if you bring your concert ticket stub.
check around, you may have better luck than me
